We have reached out to almost 45,000 people affected by typhoon Ondoy since we started our efforts last Saturday. As of 4:00 p.m., 29 September 2009, Tulong Villar Relief Assistance has distributed 41,023 relief packs and rescued/transported 3,750 people to safety. Thanks so much to everyone that has pitched in for this effort!

The work goes on, however, as more people still await supplies. Tulong Villar HQ is getting requests for medicines as well, so we are calling on all to donate them at our headquarters: Vista Land office, Worldwide Corporate Center, Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.

These are most needed:

* Amoxicillin

* Paracetamol

* Loperamide (anti-diarrheal)

* Doxicycline

* Ambroxol

* Decongestant/cold medicines
