The Mindset of an Entrepreneur
Good Riddance 2020!
Typically, the end of the year gives us time to reflect on the year that was and to look forward to the new year and beyond. We would usually come up with resolutions not just for the incoming year but also for the long-term. But this is not a typical year.
2021 is a Year of Hope and the Time to Persevere
The current year is about to end and we all should look forward to 2021 as a year of hope, healing, and quick recovery.
We should welcome the New Year with plenty of aspirations. There is no sense in ruing about the events that transpired in 2020. We cannot undo the many bad things that befell the Philippines and the rest of the world. Every nation suffered the same pandemic fate that led to the loss of millions of lives, jobs, and livelihoods.
A Family Christmas
Merry Christmas to all my readers and to the rest of the Filipino nation! My family and I wish everyone a safe, meaningful, and happy holiday season. I know it has been a difficult year and some might think that the pandemic has sucked the life out of the Filipino Christmas. But the celebration of Christmas is part of what we are as a people. The decorations are muted, the gifts probably simpler and less expensive, the parties are online, and the greetings physically distant, but Pinoy Christmas is here.

Camille Villar, he is, more than anything else, the king of their home, the best father they could ever have.
Manny Villar: At Home in His Empire
Tycoon Manuel B. Villar, Jr. is undoubtedly one of the fathers of the Philippine property industry.
But he stands out because his is an empire he himself built from scratch or to put in more specifically, out of a single red truck for gravel and sand. Indeed, he didn’t have a head start because he was not a second generation builder.
